Dinner at the Panecillo 

Cuicocha is a volcanic lake sitting at about 10,000 feet. The national park in which it sits covers 2 Ecuadorian provinces and is guarded by the Cotacachi volcano. This high paramo ecosystem is thriving with reptiles, insects, and birds!

La Quinta de Gouline is a beautiful butterfly center dedicated to the breading, research, and conservation of Ecuadorian butterflies. Located in a fragile, trasitional, ecoystem, the owner Mathieu conserves the land in which the center is located for vunerable species.
