The tour leader is your in-country organizer. She's the boots on the ground that plans all the logistics in Ecuador so that you have an amazing experience without ever having to lift a finger.
About El Septimo Paraiso
el septimo Paraiso (7th Heaven) is an ecolodge that sits on an impressive 420 hectare (~1140 acre) private reserve just outside the small, conservation-focused town of Mindo. This reserve protects many endangered animals. The Pinocchio Lizard was found on the grounds after being considered completely extinct!
El Septimo Paraiso not only pledges to protect the cloud forest by preserving land but actively engages in current research, conservation projects, and fighting against overseas mining pressures in the larger Mindo-Nanegalito area.
In addition to their conservation pledge, El Septimo Paraiso actively works with the Mindo community through trainings and job opportunities. Over 90% of the employees are from Mindo and are provided with health insurance, competitive wages, and flexible hours. Many single mothers make up part of the El Septimo team which empowers them to provide for their families.
